Cry moar gen wunners

This thread is dedicated to those certain "fans" who continually play Pokémon while simultaneously complain about everything new that Gamefreak does, and crazy fans in general, so that we may continue to laugh at them.

For example, every time they add new Pokémon to the roster, "old school" fanbrats always say things like "They look stupid, everything after Gen I has been garbage".
Or, how they added mega-evolutions to all of the old Gen. I starters, and people complained that they're ruining their favorite Pokémon.
There was even a crazy debate over whether or not Gen. VI was being released too early after Gen. V or not.

I have no such stories, or rather, I think you picked out the biggest ones. I just gotta say that I love this game so far, and I think they did an amazing job with it.

I often hear people say it's too easy though, and I guess I have to agree with that. It's too easy to level up. For me that's a good thing though, as it means you can get pokémon to higher levels faster, and the main story was never really challenging in any of the games. In a way, it's a shame this can't be the game that challenges us. But I have been enjoying it immensely regardless of that, and with me being one of the people who really enjoys hardcore challenges in RPGs, that's saying something.

As for pokémon looking stupid, yes, a lot of them do. In all generations. I think X/Y did a better job in that aspect than usual, although I find the starters to be pretty disappointing.

I like the starters' basic forms, especially Fennekin, but they're kinda ugly after they're evolved. >.< Greninja is pretty cool I guess though.

I plan on starting over and trying to beat the game without using starters, Mega-evolutions and leaving the exp. share off until after the Elite 4. Maybe it will be more challenging that way.

The whole how to getting shinies is kind of stupid, they need to be more easier to get.

Speaking of shinies, been trying to pokéradar chain lately. Managed to get a shiny Pupitar after a lot of woes, but... Mild nature... not exactly what I was hoping for (and I had a Sassy synchronizer in the front).

What really bothers me about chaning is how they didn't put up any decent grass patches in some routes. Sometimes it takes a ridiculous amount of resets to get the right shaking grass far enough away that you can step in. Even then, there's a chance the chain will randomly break even with a perfect patch.

I have a buddy at work who took a very long Pokemon hiatus. Now, he recently picked up Pokemon X. He does not seem to like it very much and he hates that people are asking so much for a Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan.

I don't like Scatterbug, at least not the ones I catch in my game.
